Inner horizon - 2005
Dans *Inner Horizon*, Christelle Fillod et Yukiko Shinozaki explorent les limites de nos sens visuel et auditif, partant du constat que la plus grande partie du monde physique réel échappe à la perception humaine. Un espace infini, comparable à un trou noir, a inspiré cette performance. C'est dans cet espace que les danseuses prennent place. À travers leurs mouvements, elles recherchent de nouvelles façons d'exprimer leur corps. Des procédés techniques tels que la lumière, les costumes, le son et la scénographie contribuent à faire vivre au public l'expérience de la disparition de tout repère physique et la sensation d'une réalité en pleine mutation.
In Inner Horizon Christelle Fillod and Yukiko Shinozaki examined the limitations of our visual and auditory senses, on the basis of the observation that by far the largest part of the real physical world is actually beyond the reach of human perception. An endless space comparable to a black hole has been an inspiration for this performance. It is here that the dancers take up their positions. As they dance they seek new ways of moving with the body. Such technical means as lighting, costume, sound, and set design are used to give the audience an experience of the sense that all physical references have vanished and of how it feels to see reality shifting.
